Timelime Privacy Policy (macOS and iOS)

We value your privacy and believe it is best if we do not collect any information from you. So we don’t do it! Again, we do not collect any kind of data from you when you use the Timelime app.

By default, synchronization is disabled in Timelime’s preferences. Then all your Timelime data is stored locally on your Mac or iPhone. Only Timelime and no other app can access this local storage. Also, when synchronization is disabled, Timelime never sends any data over the network.

When you enable synchronization, your Timelime data (tasks, timings, and some app settings) is sent to your account on either Dropbox, Apple iCloud, or a WebDAV server. We have no influence on the processing of your data with these external cloud services. Information on data protection at Dropbox can be found here https://www.dropbox.com/privacy. iCloud’s privacy policy is available at: https://www.apple.com/privacy. To find out about the privacy of a WebDAV server, please ask its administrator.

To delete your Timelime data from an external cloud service, hold the option key (⌥) when disabling Timelime synchronization on macOS (Timelime Preferences > Sync) or tap and hold the “Off” button for two seconds when disabling Timelime synchronization on iOS (Settings > Synchronization > Service).
